All-in-One Solution

The MultiPlus-II combines a powerful sine wave inverter, adaptive battery charger, and high-speed transfer switch in a compact enclosure. It integrates all features of the MultiPlus with Energy Storage System (ESS) functionality for grid-connected and off-grid applications.

PowerControl and PowerAssist

Prevents overload of a limited AC source such as a generator or shore connection. The PowerControl function reduces battery charging automatically to avoid overload. PowerAssist goes further by supplementing the incoming AC power with battery power during peak demand — allowing you to use a smaller, more efficient generator without risking overload.

Uninterrupted AC Power (UPS Function)

In the event of grid failure or disconnection of shore/generator power, the inverter activates and takes over supply to connected loads in less than 20 milliseconds. Computers and other sensitive electronics continue operating without disruption.

Two AC Outputs

The main output (AC-out-1) provides uninterrupted power with no-break functionality. The second output (AC-out-2) is live only when AC is available on the input — ideal for loads that should not discharge the battery, such as water heaters or air conditioners.

External Current Sensor

Optional external current transformer extends PowerControl and PowerAssist functionality, enabling self-consumption optimisation with external current sensing up to 32A.

Parallel and Three-Phase Operation

Up to 6 units can operate in parallel for higher power output. Three units of the same model can be configured for three-phase output — or up to 6 sets of three units for 75kW / 90kVA total power.

Remote Monitoring and Control

When connected to a GX device (such as Cerbo GX), you can monitor and control your system locally or remotely via the free Victron Remote Management (VRM) portal. Access from phone, tablet, laptop, or PC from anywhere in the world.

ESS Ready

The MultiPlus-II is the key component in a Victron Energy Storage System, providing flexibility to combine with MPPT Solar Chargers or grid-tie PV inverters. Built-in anti-islanding protection and country approvals enable grid feed-in where permitted.

Programmable Relay and Auxiliary Functions

Programmable relay can be set for general alarm, DC under-voltage, or generator start/stop. Two programmable analog/digital input/output ports provide additional system integration options.
