Arizon Off-Grid Expands To China To Support Global Caravan Manufacturing Growth

Melbourne based power solutions provider Arizon Off-Grid, has expanded its operations internationally, opening new manufacturing facilities in China to support the growing number of Australian and global caravan manufacturers building offshore.

Celebrating 12 years in Epping, Melbourne, and recently recognised with the 2025 Caravan Industry Victoria Excellence In Component Manufacturing Award, Arizon Off-Grid expansion marks a significant step in scaling its operations to meet increasing demand across the caravan and recreational vehicle sector.

The new facilities include a dedicated production and manufacturing hub, as well as a lithium battery factory, enabling Arizon Off-Grid to supply its Australian designed power systems directly to manufacturers in China.

Arizon Off-Grid Executive Director, Roy Ding, said the expansion aligns with broader industry trends and strong recent growth.

“We have experienced significant growth over the past three years, driven by demand for high quality power solutions across the caravan and industrial sectors,” Mr Ding said.

“With more manufacturers producing caravans and camper trailers in China, it made strategic sense for us to establish a local manufacturing presence. This allows us to supply our systems directly at the point of production, reducing lead times, lowering costs, and maintaining build quality.”

The China based facilities will produce Arizon Off-Grid’s power control systems and lithium batteries across 12V, 24V and 48V platforms, supporting manufacturers exporting to Australia and international markets.

The company has also expanded its business development and sales presence across South East Asia, positioning itself for further international growth.

“We take great pride in our Australian design and engineering, this expansion enables us to bring that expertise to a broader global market while supporting our manufacturing partners more efficiently,” Mr Ding said.

Alongside its international expansion, Arizon Off-Grid has recently launched new products, including the 12V 230Ah and 314Ah lithium batteries produced in its China facility, as well its new NEXUS Series power solutions.

Developed and tested at the company’s Melbourne headquarters, the NEXUS Series introduces advanced digital switching technology, providing manufacturers and end users with enhanced control and flexibility over their power systems.

Mr Ding said the new product range complements the company’s global expansion by delivering scalable, easy-to-install solutions for caravan and RV manufacturers.

“By combining local manufacturing capability with Australian design, we are well positioned to support the next phase of growth in the global caravan industry,” Mr Ding said.
