Good Different Adventures Unveil Next Level Off-Grid Trail RV Build Powered By Arizon Off-Grid

Queensland adventurers Amanda and Dave from Good Different Adventures have officially joined the Arizon Off-Grid family, unveiling their custom Trail RV caravan at the recent Let’s Go Queensland Caravan & Camping Supershow in Brisbane.

Marking a significant milestone for both brands, the build is the first Trail RV caravan to be equipped with the advanced Arizon Off-Grid Multi 24V 5000 Apex power control system, integrated with Arizon NEXUS digital switching, high-capacity 24V 230Ah lithium batteries, and a premium 24V solar array.

The result is a fully engineered off-grid solution designed for extended, self-sufficient travel across Australia’s most remote landscapes.

Built for full-time adventure, the system delivers the power, control, and reliability required to support Amanda and Dave’s growing demands on and off road, enabling them to stay off-grid longer and travel further with total confidence.

Arizon Off-Grid Marketing Manager, Adam Olive, said the partnership was a natural fit.

“Amanda and Dave represent the evolution of modern touring, starting with weekend escapes and now stepping into full-time off-grid exploration,” he said.

Real Power To Stay Off-Grid Longer

“With their custom Trail RV build and ambition to push deeper into remote Australia, the Arizon Off-Grid 24V 5000 Apex system with Victron Energy, and Arizon NEXUS Node 12 integration provides the performance and reliability they need to do exactly that.

“Combined with our premium solar and lithium battery technology, this system ensures they have the power to run everything they need, whether they’re deep in the bush, crossing the interior, or set up off-grid along the coast.”

Beyond the build itself, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to inspiring and educating the next generation of off-grid travellers.

“Amanda and Dave don’t just travel, they bring their audience along for the journey,” Adam said.

“They have an incredible ability to connect, educate, and inspire, making them a perfect fit for Arizon Off-Grid.”

Amanda and Dave officially unveiled their new Trail RV caravan for the first time at the Supershow, showcasing a purpose-built off-grid setup designed to support their lifestyle and power their next chapter of adventure.

Arizon Off-Grid and Victron Energy gives us the trust to go further & stay longer,” they said.

“A partnership built on reliability, this isn’t just a caravan, it’s our new home on wheels, Arizon Off-Grid powered for a lifestyle built on freedom.

“Off-grid freedom starts with reliability, and staying longer off-grid isn’t a goal, it’s a lifestyle.

“With Arizon Off-Grid we can go on adventures, have fun and always be safe.”

Good Different Adventures Story

Good Different Adventures is the story of Dave and Amanda, an Australian couple who chose to step away from the conventional path and build a life centred around travel, freedom, and meaningful experiences on the road.

For over three years, they have been caravanning full-time around Australia, sharing their journey and inspiring others to explore a different way of living.

Before embracing life on the road, both Dave and Amanda built long and successful careers.

Dave served over 30 years in the military, a career that shaped his resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving mindset, qualities that now play a vital role in navigating the challenges of full-time travel and off-grid living.

Amanda spent more than 30 years as a hairdresser, building strong connections with people and fostering a natural sense of creativity and community that shines through in their content and storytelling.

Their journey into caravanning began simply, with weekend camping trips and a swag. What started as a way to escape routine quickly grew into something far more meaningful.

As their passion for travel developed, they upgraded to an Avan,  affectionately known as the “triangle on wheels” which allowed them to travel further and experience more of Australia at their own pace.

A pivotal moment in their journey came during and after a six-month trip exploring Tasmania.

Immersed in the raw beauty and slower pace of the island, they made the decision to invest in a brand new caravan, marking their commitment to a long-term travelling lifestyle.

However, just one week after returning to the mainland and receiving it, they were involved in an horrific accident that resulted in the caravan being written off.

While it was a challenging and emotional setback, it ultimately reinforced their determination to continue pursuing their dream.

Rather than stepping away, Dave and Amanda chose to keep moving forward.

They purchased a second-hand caravan and continued travelling around Australia, gaining invaluable real-world experience in full-time caravanning.

It was during this period that they truly refined their understanding of what was required for life on the road, not just in terms of equipment, but in how they wanted to live and travel.

With this knowledge, they made the decision to invest in a custom build, by Trail RV, designed specifically to suit their lifestyle and the demands of long-term touring across Australia.

The build incorporates premium systems, including Arizon Off-Grid, allowing them to comfortably live off-grid for extended periods and access more remote destinations with confidence.

To complement their new caravan and support the demands of towing their off-road setup, they have introduced a 2026 GMSV Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD as their tow vehicle.

This combination represents the next evolution of their journey, a highly capable, purpose-built setup that enables them to travel further, stay longer, and continue exploring Australia without compromise.

Through Good Different Adventures, Dave and Amanda document their travels, sharing authentic, experience-based content that resonates with a growing audience of like-minded travellers.

Their approach is grounded in honesty and relatability, offering real insights into caravanning, off-grid living, and the realities of life on the road, including both the highlights and the challenges.

As a couple living and travelling full-time, they are passionate about showcasing destinations, products, and experiences that genuinely add value to the caravanning and touring community.

Their audience trusts their recommendations because they are built on real use, practical experience, and a commitment to only sharing what aligns with their lifestyle.

As they continue their journey around Australia, Dave and Amanda remain focused on inspiring others to step outside the ordinary and consider a life that is, in their words, is “Good Different”.
