The SmartSolar MPPT extracts every bit of energy from sunlight, even in partially shaded conditions. Extremely fast power point tracking and intelligent charge algorithms make it happen. Especially when light intensity is changing continuously, an ultra-fast MPPT controller improves energy harvest by up to 30% compared to PWM controllers and up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers.

Advanced Maximum Power Point Detection

If partial shading occurs, two or more maximum power points may appear on the power-voltage curve. Conventional MPPTs tend to lock to a local MPP that may not be the optimum. The innovative SmartSolar algorithm always maximises energy harvest by locking to the optimum MPP.

Synchronise to Behave as One

Multiple MPPTs can coordinate using Bluetooth or a GX device connected to the VE.Can port, allowing them to switch through charge stages simultaneously. This extends battery life and ensures peak system efficiency.

Intelligent Charge Algorithm

Get the most out of your solar panels while protecting your batteries with adaptive charging. The MPPT automatically switches between bulk, absorption, and float stages, with intelligent algorithms tailored to your battery type. Eight pre-programmed algorithms are selectable with a rotary switch.

Works with Most Battery Types

Compatible with lithium, AGM, gel, and flooded batteries. Offers automatic voltage selection for 12V and 24V systems, plus a dedicated charging profile for each battery type. Can even revive fully discharged batteries down to zero volts.
